The Bridge on the River Kwai

Kanchanaburi is the location of the famous Bridge on the River Kwai, made famous in David Lean's film. The town is incredibly moving with the War Cemetries and the superb Death Railway Museum which tells the story of the construction of the railway and the incredible deprivation experienced by the PoWs.
